| Notes: | Natural-dyed picture of Winterbourne House in Birmingham. The background was woven in dip/tie-died mohair mix yarns. The middle is a picture of the house pieced from natural-dyed blanket samples. I used eco-printed pieces of blanket, machine embroidered, for the garden, and the foreground silk flowers were machine embroidered on silk dyed with plants from the garden as part of a Birmingham WS&D project. A header with the name of the house in natural-dyed aran-weight yarns, with a fringe of the silk remnants, was added later. This was donated to Winterbourne House in October 2020 |
